ChartInsight™ Product Update: September 2026

ChartInsight™ September 2026 product update. Downloaded Insights and record chats now keep live page citations, and Gemini or external imports matters can pull in files that arrived after the first import.

TL;DR

  • Downloaded Insights and record chats now keep clickable page citations in PDF and DOCX, so a demand letter or QME draft still opens the source page.
  • For eligible records, ChartInsight™ can reprocess automatically 30 minutes after the last change. Manual reprocess is still there.
  • New matter names stay unique on the team, with a similar-name hint so a second file for the same applicant is less likely to start a duplicate matter.

What's new?

Downloaded Insights and record chats now keep their page citations as live links.

Inside the workspace, ChartInsight™ already links findings to their source pages. Now those citations survive the download. Insight and record-chat PDF and DOCX exports turn each page reference into a clickable link, so a demand letter, deposition outline, or QME draft stays tied to the chart after it leaves the app.

Export is now a single screen: pick the citation style once, then download. Attorneys and paralegals can send a file that still opens the cited page. Physician reviewers on the medical-legal practice side get the same trail in a report they can attach to a QME or AME packet.

Changelog

September's other customer-facing work clustered around incoming files, record freshness, and court-ready PDFs.

Gemini & external imports

Teams with a Gemini or other external connection no longer have to re-import a case just to see what arrived later.

  • New files after the first import: a daily check counts source-side files that are not on the matter yet and shows the count on the matter, so a paralegal can see that Gemini or external import has more records waiting.
  • Import when you are ready: nothing is pulled until you click Import. New records then go through the same processing path as the original upload.
  • Live import progress: the Medical and Documents tabs keep the importing state if you reload, and newly arrived records stay pinned at the top of the list.

Record freshness

Edits to an index or file set used to sit until someone remembered to reprocess.

  • Automatic reprocess after the last change: once an eligible processed record has gone 30 minutes without changes, ChartInsight™ reprocesses it on its own. Both "Reprocessing needed" banners show a live countdown. The manual Reprocess Record action still works.

Matter naming

  • Unique matter names per team: creating or renaming a matter rejects an exact duplicate of an active name and offers a "did you mean…" hint with links to similar matters, so a second package for the same injured worker is easier to add to the existing matter.

Court-ready PDFs

  • Bates numbering on large records: for teams using Bates numbering, very large source packages now complete Bates stamping through the final merge, so a long WC file can still carry a court-ready stamp without a stalled download.xternal conntec
